Teal Solutions was founded by Dr Bruce Hegge as a boutique advisory providing strategic environmental advice and support for marine infrastructure projects. Dr Hegge is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) and highly experienced business leader and environmental scientist. He has demonstrated strengths in strategic thinking, strong capabilities in the analysis of complex datasets and excellent written and oral communication skills. Dr Hegge has completed over 300 marine environmental projects and has a deep understanding of both the State and Federal environmental regulatory frameworks.
Dr Hegge presently holds a number of board advisory positions: Deputy Chair of Perth Region Natural Resource Management (NRM), Board Member and Treasurer of Be Living Smart, Trustee Living Landscapes Trust, Environmental Specialist at Sentient Ports, Member of the Buurabalayji Thalanyji Aboriginal Corporation Employment and Business Opportunities Committee and Member of Course Consultative Committee for the School of Natural Sciences at Edith Cowan University. Dr Hegge was previously Chairman of Quintilian School Board and has also acted as a judge for several professional awards and has held committee roles on several professional societies, including President of the Environmental Consultant’s Association.
Dr Hegge is an Adjunct Associate Professor and has multiple publications which combined have attracted over 1,100 citations.
